The Canon 5DS and 5DS R are all excellent cameras that resolve a massive amount of detail, beating 50Mp medium format cameras. A new standard has been set.

Canon’s unique resolution creature, the EOS 5DS R is certainly not a camera for everyone, but it is one of the clearest options for anybody requiring masses of detail to be recorded in their images — and who is ready to pay for the privilege.

A brother to its EOS 5DS launch associate (pictured above, right), using the same 50.6MP full-frame sensor in its heart, it’s the’R’ variant that has the benefit of its optical low-pass filter effects being phased out since this helps to catch as much detail as possible.
