Check and Find Beats Headphones/Earphones Serial Number

Many users need help finding the serial number of their Beats Studio, Powerbeats Pro or other Beats headphones and headsets. The serial number can help you check the warranty of your unit or make sure that the Beats unit you are buying is genuine and not a calibrated copy.

You will also need your serial number to register your device with Apple so that you can update the firmware on your Beats headset using the update tool. When you contact the support center, you will also be asked for your device’s serial number.

Check the serial number on the packing box.

You can find the serial number of your Beats Gizmo on the packaging that came with the product when you bought it. You will find it next to the barcode on the original packaging of your appliance.

If you still have a printed or digital receipt or invoice for a purchase, the serial number is also included.

Find the bits of your serial number with the iOS or Android device

If you can’t find the serial number of your Beats product through physical tags, you can use your iPhone or Android device to get it. Make sure the earphones are connected to your iOS or Android mobile phone. Your phone must be paired with the Beats for Android application.

Android

  • Open the Beats application on your iPhone or Android phone.
  • Look under the hood: Serial number Section.

iOS

If you use your iPhone or iPad to connect to a Beats device, simply go to Settings > General > About > [Name of your Beats device] > Serial number.

Use a Mac to look up the serial number of theshocks.

  • Connect your Beats headphones to your iMac, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air with a USB cable.
  • Click the Apple menu at the top left of the screen and select About This Mac.
  • Click the System Report button and locate the USB section on the screen that appears.
  • Check the full details of your Beats headset and its serial number.
